The OFCCP has posted another scheduling list, this time it includes companies that will undergo VEVRAA Focused Reviews.
VEVRAA Focused Reviews include a comprehensive review of a contractor’s policies and procedures as they relate solely to protected veterans. The reviews will include an onsite investigation and interviews with managers responsible for equal employment opportunity and VEVRAA compliance as well as employees affected by those policies.
VEVRAA prohibits federal contractors and subcontractors from discriminating in employment against protected veterans, and requires these employers to take affirmative action to recruit, hire, promote, and retain veterans who are in the protected categories.

Current Affirmative Action clients should contact their project manager in the event they receive a Scheduling Letter.
As mentioned in an announcement earlier this year, the OFCCP stated that they will not mail advanced contractor notifications to individual establishments, formerly published as Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letters (CSALs). In order for contractors to find out in advance if they should expect a pending compliance evaluation, they must now search the Scheduling List by company name.
The list that was released earlier this year was divided into five types of compliance evaluations:
- Section 503 Focused Reviews, which are new this year
- Corporate Management Compliance Evaluations
- Compliance Checks
- Establishment Reviews, or traditional OFCCP audits
- FAAP Reviews
The newest list, released on Veterans Day 2019, includes Focused Reviews which will have a specific emphasis on protected veterans.
