Employers subject to the 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection should ensure their reports are submitted no later than Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11:00 pm Eastern. At that time, the filing system will close and no additional reports will be accepted. Employers failing to submit their required reports will be deemed out of compliance by EEOC.
Reports can be submitted online via the EEO-1 Component 1 Online Filing System. Additional information about completing the reports can be found in the EEO-1 Instruction Booklet and on the EEO-1 website.
As previously reported, employers subject to the EEO-1 Component 1 filing requirements include private employers with 100 or more employees, plus federal contractors with 50 or more employees and financial institutions with 50 or more employees. Affiliated employers with differing EINs, as well as holding companies, should review the EEO-1 Instruction Booklet for further information about reporting multiple employers under a single EEO-1 account and about consolidating employee headcount to determine reporting eligibility.
