Delaware Minimum Wage Increase to $15

Effective July 19, 2021, Delaware Governor Jim Carney signed legislation (SB 15) to gradually increase the state’s minimum wage to:

$10.50 per hour effective January 1, 2022;
$11.75 per hour effective January 1, 2023;
$13.25 per hour effective January 1, 2024; and
$15.00 per hour effective January 1, 2025.

The law also provides that the federal minimum wage rate applies if it ever exceeds the state’s minimum wage.
