NY Executive Order 162 Issued to Ensure Pay Equity for State Contractors and Subcontractors

Effective June 1, 2017, Executive Order 162 now requires New York State contractors and subcontractors to include job title and wage information on their workforce utilization reports. The reports already include gender, race, and ethnicity. The orders were executed to address the wage gap.

Contractors with prime contracts and subcontractors with contracts that have a value in excess of $25,000 must report the information on a quarterly basis, whereas contracts in excess of $100,000 require reporting the information on a monthly basis.
