Janine Corea

Vice President, HR Management Services

As the Vice President of HR Management Services for HR Works, Janine is responsible for the Company’s outsourced consulting and compliance services. With nearly 30 years of human resource experience, she is equipped with a broad understanding of human resource management, including employment law, employee relations, leadership and organizational development, culture and engagement. Janine also has extensive experience with training and development and project management, making her uniquely qualified to lead a division of HR Consultants providing compliance, strategic and day-to-day support to address clients’ human resource needs.

Janine began her human resources career at Paychex, Inc. where she spent almost twenty years supporting and growing the organization’s human resource outsourcing services. She joined HR Works, Inc. in September 2015 as an HR Consultant, providing consulting services for both profit and non-profit clients across a wide range of industries. Over the course of her career at HR Works, Janine has continued to take on additional leadership responsibilities within her team and at a company level and now serves as VP, HR Management Services where she is responsible for oversight and growth of the Company’s HR Strategic Services, Onsite Consulting, and Compliance services.

Janine holds a B.S. degree in Business Management, with a specialization in Human Resource Management, from SUNY Brockport, as well as both the PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. She served on the Board of Directors for the National Human Resources Association – Rochester Affiliate, as Co-Director of Professional Development, and is the Co-Chair of the NHRA’s Annual Benefit Auction.

If Janine’s not in the office, she might be in a Body Combat class or counting steps on long walks. She relishes spending time with family and reading a good book while enjoying a glass of wine.

Maintaining a work-life balance is important to Janine. That balance and ability to be present for her family has led to fulfillment in the office and at home.
