Steve Hogan

Vice President, Business Development

Steve consults with our clients in a variety of industries to analyze HR and benefits processes, identify inefficiencies and exposures, and recommend solutions to streamline operations, eliminate profit leaks and ensure compliance. He works with companies and leaders, providing strategic support to advance internal human resource initiatives, while also working to develop strategies for increasing employee engagement, organizational development, and professional development and training. Steve is responsible for increasing HR Works’ presence in the Northeast and national markets.

Steve is passionate about getting to know our clients, their businesses, and customizing solutions that will help build long term relationships.

He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Roberts Wesleyan College, and a M.B.A. from St. John Fisher College.   He is also the President of the Small Business Council of Rochester, an affiliate of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce.   With a focus on children’s issues, Mr. Hogan has been Treasurer and Board Chair for The Children’s Agenda and serves as Vice President of the Churchville Chili Central School District Board of Education.

Steve would like to master the fine art of cooking and piano performance, hoping to be able to play anything from Billy Joel or Elton John from memory! He enjoys traveling internationally and seeing new places with his wife, family and friends. He’s in the process of raising 4 girls, has been married to his high school sweetheart for more than 20 years, and has visited the Great Pyramid, Machu Picchu, Petra and other ancient historical sites.
